Slater & Gordon is set to continue its U.K. acquisition spree, with the Australian personal injury law firm in talks to acquire Welsh litigation specialist Leo Abse & Cohen.

The deal would cap a busy month for Melbourne-based Slater & Gordon, which earlier this month acquired the patent claims business of Derby, England-based Flint Bishop. It would also mark Slater & Gordon’s seventh U.K. takeover since launching in the country in 2012. The firm has made a major global expansion push and already employs more than 1,300 staff in the U.K.—more than in its home country.
