Big Pharma tops our latest roundup of deals worth $1 billion or more, with AbbVie Inc. agreeing to purchase cancer-drug maker Pharmacyclics Inc. for $21 billion. In another deal surpassing the $10 billion mark, NXP Semiconductors N.V. will acquire Freescale Semiconductor Ltd. for $11.8 billion. Rounding out the top three is a Citigroup subsidiary that will sell subprime lender OneMain Financial Holdings Inc. to Springleaf Holdings Inc. for $4.25 billion.

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom advised on the most number of billion-dollar deals this week, with four, while Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz topped the list by transaction value.
