With countercyclical practices in employment and litigation helping to drive growth, Seyfarth Shaw rose revenue by 3%, reaching close to $900 million, while the Am Law 100 firm maintained average profits per equity partner at nearly $1.5 million last year.

Firm leader Lorie Almon said Seyfarth was “pleased” with its top-line growth and found labor and employment, commercial litigation and benefits work demand were among the practices that kept Seyfarth on a long-term growth trajectory. The firm’s net income for all equity partners also rose about 3% to $324.9 million.
