Baker McKenzie, though it has strongly advocated for its women attorneys, it has done a weak at best job of recruiting and retaining black lawyers. Its SF office has one woman partner and its DC office has one male black partner. Baker has a poor record in relation to its competitors on a national and international scale in relation to the recruitment of black attorneys who are not in the US. I hope the new California leadership of Ms. Klementz can do better than her predecessor.
