An internal U.S. Department of Justice review has found that the former top federal prosecutor in Oregon, Amanda Marshall, violated sexual harassment laws and lied to investigators about an “intimate and personal” relationship with a deputy that lasted more than a year.
The Justice Department inspector general’s office (OIG) released a summary Tuesday of its investigation into Marshall, who served as U.S. Attorney in Oregon for more than three years before resigning in May 2015.
