Kirkland & Ellis had another strong year in 2015, with gross revenue rising 7.2 percent, to $2.305 billion, according to preliminary reporting by The American Lawyer.

While net income increased 7.0 percent, profits per equity partner rose just 2.7 percent, to $3.604 million, as profits were divided among more equity partners. Revenue per lawyer increased 4.3 percent, to $1.424 million. (The firm declined to comment on its financial results for the fiscal year, which ended Jan. 31.)
