Three mergers in one year proved to be a mixed bag for regional Am Law 200 firm Dinsmore & Shohl, which saw its gross revenue grow in 2015, while partner profits and revenue per lawyer slipped.

Dinsmore gobbled up three U.S. firms last year after absorbing Cincinnati-based Peck, Shaffer & Williams in early 2014. Dinsmore, which is also based in Cincinnati, saw gross revenue rise a whopping 12.3 percent in 2015, to $219.5 million. Net income at the firm surged 10.4 percent, to $97.49 million last year.
