Polsinelli announced Tuesday that it will be taking 44 intellectual property lawyers from Novak Druce Connolly Bove & Quigg, stripping the IP boutique of most of its attorneys and all but one of its remaining name partners.

Kansas City-based Polsinelli says the mass lateral move will give it one of the largest IP groups in the country. The firm confirmed last month that it was taking a large number of lawyers from Novak Druce but didn’t specify how many people were involved. The group includes 27 partners and 14 associates, according to a Polsinelli press release.
