Greenberg Traurig, a firm that has been busy on the hiring front this year as it mulls over a big bet on global growth, shuffled its litigation ranks in recent weeks.

Last week Greenberg Traurig confirmed that it was in preliminary discussions about a potential merger with British firm Berwin Leighton Paisner—Internet domain name registration records show that the website blpgt.com was registered on Feb. 3, the same day both firms confirmed their talks—in a deal that sibling publication the Daily Business Review notes would be a departure from the Am Law 100 firm’s traditional plan of expansion through lateral additions. And some of those hires are now moving on.
