Usually, I’m the bearer of bad news—particularly about women’s careers. But recently, I’ve uncovered a trove of positive news about women. My hunch is that these bits of positive development are flukes. In any case, enjoy the good stuff while you can:
1. Arent Fox’s new managing partner is a woman. And Brazilian. Cristina Carvalho, a copyright and intellectual property lawyer who went to law school in Brazil, is Arent Fox’s new managing partner, reports The National Law Journal. Her biggest client: Mars Inc., the candy maker. How sweet.
