Alex Rodriguez has settled a suit accusing him of stiffing Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani on a $380,000 tab racked up by the firm as it helped the New York Yankees star fight a suspension over his ties to a controversial South Florida anti-aging clinic.
The deal, first reported on Monday by Newsday, resolves a case that Gordon Rees first filed against Rodriguez in 2014. The settlement’s terms weren’t publicly disclosed, but a Nov. 9 court filing in New York state court in Manhattan indicates that the Am Law 200 firm has agreed to dismiss its case against Rodriguez.
