Each year, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Proskauer Rose square off in a hockey tournament at New York’s Chelsea Piers to raise money for charity.
The National Hockey League, a client of both firms, also supports the event, which raises money for the nonprofit Ice Hockey in Harlem. Other firms including New York-based boutique Bailey Duquette, leading Canadian shop Stikeman Elliott, Kaye Scholer and Weil, Gotshal & Manges have participated in recent years, but more often than not, Skadden has reigned supreme when the results are tallied.
