Baker & Hostetler has been paid more than $715 million to date for its work recovering funds for victims of Bernard Madoff’s Ponzi scheme, according to a report filed Tuesday in U.S. bankruptcy court in New York.

Baker & Hostetler’s Irving Picard was appointed liquidation trustee of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities after one of the largest banking frauds in history came to light in 2008. Meanwhile, a team serving as counsel to Picard is headed by Baker & Hostetler litigation partner David Sheehan.
