Winston & Strawn, long known for its litigation work, will now have two top trial lawyers as head of the 808-lawyer firm.

The Chicago-based Am Law 100 shop announced Tuesday that New York litigator Jeffrey Kessler had been elected co-chairman of the firm along with Dan Webb, who has served as sole chairman since 2006. The change means that Webb and Kessler will now lead Winston & Strawn for a three-year term alongside current managing partner Thomas Fitzgerald.
