K&L Gates, a global legal giant whose thinning partnership ranks caught the attention of sibling publication The Legal Intelligencer and other legal industry observers earlier this month, recently made a trio of new hires even as a half-dozen other partners headed for the door.
BRANDON MCCARTHY, a former federal prosecutor in Dallas, joined the firm’s government enforcement practice as a partner in the city. K&L Gates’ addition of McCarthy comes as the firm seeks to bolster its disputes practice around the world.
