McDermott Will & Emery announced Wednesday that it plans to coordinate efforts with the Spanish firm Olleros Abogados to serve clients on Cuba-related maters.
The Spanish firm is positioning itself to open an office in Havana should such an outpost become legal under Cuban law, founding partner Jaime Olleros said in a statement. Until then, the firm has established a Cuba desk in Madrid to handle clients in the agriculture, automotive, energy, telecommunications and tourism industries, who are increasingly interested in opportunities from the island nation.
