DLA Piper has expanded beyond the traditional legal model again by rolling out a corporate finance and M&A advisory arm. The legal giant’s latest venture, London-based Noble Street, follows the January launch of CyberTrak, a subscription-based online platform detailing varying cybersecurity laws in international markets, according to our previous reports.

Noble Street, which is aimed at addressing a capital shortage in the entertainment, media, technology and sports arena, will be led by attorney and film financier Anthony Mosawi, whom the firm hired specifically for the role, along with Sir Nigel Knowles, global co-chairman of DLA Piper, and Christopher Hanson, head of DLA Piper’s media and entertainment group, according to the firm.
