A little more than a month after publicly rekindling merger talks that stalled in late 2013, Dentons and McKenna Long & Aldridge have agreed to combine operations.

The union, which does not yet have an effective date but will take place under the Dentons name and be finalized sometime later this year, was agreed upon Wednesday following a vote by Dentons partners. McKenna Long partners voted last month to approve the deal, as noted by sibling publication the Daily Report, which has more on the current agreement.
