The bulk of Kutak Rock’s Wichita office is bolting for Lewis, Brisbois, Bisgaard & Smith, with eight lawyers and eight staffers making the move to the California-based Am Law 200 firm.
The mass lateral move leaves only commercial litigation partner Richard Olmstead at Kutak Rock in Wichita, where the Omaha-based Am Law 200 firm will open another office in a smaller space. Among those leaving Kutak Rock for Lewis Brisbois include the former’s local managing partner, ALAN RUPE, chairman of Kutak Rock’s national employment group.
