Large firms are once again moving ahead with plans to expand their presence in Africa.
Dentons, which just 10 days ago finalized a historic combination with 4,000-lawyer Chinese firm Dacheng, announced Thursday its opening of a second South African office in Johannesburg. Meanwhile, Shearman & Sterling is on the verge of opening its first African office in the Egyptian capital of Cairo, as first reported by British publication Legal Business.
