New Orleans-based Jones Walker hopes to return to the Am Law 200 ranks in 2015 by starting the year with an expansion kick, Cajun-style.
Jones Walker, whose New York office is head by former four-term congressman Rick Lazio, bolstered its office in Washington, D.C., by absorbing seven lawyers from banking and securities boutique Spidi & Fisch. The two firms officially merged on Jan. 1, pushing Jones Walker’s financial services practice group above 50 lawyers and the total attorney head count to roughly 400.
