Some marriages end with a trial. If Francis Canellas and Lourdes Rodriguez follow through with their plans to marry, they’ll have to get through one first.
As the former directors of Dewey & LeBoeuf’s finance and billing departments, respectively, Canellas and Rodriguez are both key characters in the ongoing criminal trial against the firm’s fallen executives. Over the course of seven days in July, prosecutors drew testimony from Canellas, the state’s star witness, that was intended to link the defendants to allegedly illegal accounting tricks at the firm.
