Holland & Knight Heads to Denver, Plus More Lateral Moves

Fresh off successful financial years in 2014, Holland & Knight opens a Denver office with six lawyers from Lathrop & Gage; Akin plucks a practice leader from Paul Hastings; Covington & Burling adds a former federal prosecutor; a handful of departures from Dickstein Shapiro; Kirkland & Ellis grows in London; and other notable hires from throughout The Am Law 200.

Fresh off a successful financial year in 2014, which included a new outpost in Anchorage, Holland & Knight is now headed to Denver after adding a six-lawyer team from Lathrop & Gage.

The Am Law 100 firm with South Florida roots announced this week its hire of commercial litigation partners AARON BRADFORD and THOMAS LELAND, senior counsel LEAH CAPRITTA and three associates from Lathrop & Gage, where Leland co-chaired the firm’s business litigation practice. (Capritta was of counsel at her former firm, which acquired Denver’s Kamlet Reichert four years ago.)
