Arnold & Porter recently announced the addition of corporate and financial services partner CHARLES BETHILL and senior counsel MARK SOKOLOW in New York from Alston & Bird.
Both lawyers joined Alston & Bird in late 2011 as part of a banking group defecting from SNR Denton, a predecessor to current day Dentons and successor to Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal following a 2010 transatlantic merger. Bethill and Sokolow, who have worked with one another for years, were absorbed into Sonnenschein in late 2008 after the firm took on more than 100 lawyers from now-defunct Thacher Proffitt & Wood.
