RICHARD KIMBALL, the former cochair of Edwards Wildman Palmer’s technology practice in Boston, left the firm ahead of its proposed merger with Locke Lord.

Edwards Wildman and Locke Lord confirmed last month their intention to merge by year’s end and since then several partners from the former have headed elsewhere. Last week, IP litigation partner James Behmke became managing partner of fast-growing Parker Ibrahim & Berg’s new Boston office, while partners in Edwards Wildman’s struggling London office continued to peel away for local rivals.
