“Lots of legal work is already being computerized by some firms, including the drafting of simple contracts and the search for evidence in reams of documents,” O’Toole says. Though industry experts admit a robotic attorney won’t come up with creative solutions or solve problems, it will ace some of the more mundane legal tasks.
