Jones Day has hired intellectual property litigator Andrea Jeffries as a partner in Los Angeles. Jeffries, who counts technology companies like Apple Inc. and Cisco Systems Inc. among her clients, was most recently a partner at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr.
Jeffries, one of The Recorder’s 2016 Women Leaders in Tech Law, has also defended Converse Inc. in a trademark dispute over its iconic Chuck Taylor All Star shoe design and helped Nike Inc. reach a favorable settlement in a patent infringement dispute over software used in shoe design contests.
