Haynes and Boone, which has been busy tracking an increasing number of oil and gas bankruptcies during the past year, hired a bankruptcy and business restructuring partner this month from Proskauer Rose.
GEOFFREY RAICHT, who joined Proskauer in 2011 after co-heading the restructuring and insolvency affinity group at McDermott Will & Emery, joined Haynes and Boone as a partner and leader of the firm’s restructuring practice in New York. Raicht specializes in Chapter 15 proceedings, a process that allows foreign filers to use U.S. bankruptcy courts.
