Five firms are poised to divvy up $2 million related to the work of sorting through Prince’s estate. And the fees are still piling up.

The fees were outlined Monday in a proposed order filed in the estate action in Carver County, Minnesota, near the late pop icon’s suburban Minneapolis home and studio, Paisley Park. Bremer Trust N.A., the court-appointed special administrator for Prince’s estate, said that the amount represents fees incurred by its counsel through June 30.
