After 25 years at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York, the firm’s former executive director, Steven Spiess, has headed out west to Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, where he will serve as the Denver-based Am Law 200 firm’s chief operating officer. He officially joined Brownstein Hyatt July 5.
Spiess held the position of executive director at Cravath from 2002 to 2015, when Davis Polk & Wardwell alum Donna Rosenwasser succeeded him in the position.
