Jimmie McMillian Jr., a litigation partner in Barnes & Thornburg’s Indianapolis office who is known as “Tic Tac” in the world of motorcycle clubs, has traded Big Law life for life at the racetracks. McMillian joined the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as senior corporate counsel on May 2, just in time for the 2016 Indy 500.
“I’m a very big fan of racing. I’ve been into cars and bikes my whole life,” said motorcycle club member McMillian, who now gets to ride his bike to the office every day. “I saw myself moving in-house for the right opportunity.”
