Two more Am Law 200 firms have landed lead roles probing sexual abuse allegations plaguing one of the nation’s top boarding schools.

Holland & Knight and Choate, Hall & Stewart were retained over the weekend by the Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire, to probe accusations of abuse by a former teacher. The Boston Globe reported on March 30 that only after it inquired about two cases of sexual misconduct in the 1970s and 1980s involving ex-faculty member and administrator Rick Schubart did Phillips Exeter make public the circumstances of his forced retirement in 2011.
