National personal injury firm Irwin Mitchell, the U.K.’s 19th-largest law firm by revenue, and West Sussex-based private client firm Thomas Eggar have already exchanged contracts on their merger, while regional U.K. firm Addleshaw Goddard is in advanced talks with leading Scottish practice Maclay Murray & Spens, according to reports in the U.K. legal press.
