Just over a third of the U.S. lawyers promoted to partner by the country’s largest firms in the past year were female, according to a new study released by a group called the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance. But the group found that several Am Law 100 firms elected no new U.S. female partners in 2015.

The study, released in November, found that women made up 34.4 percent of newly promoted attorneys at the 118 major firms where public announcements were reviewed. (The report examined promotion announcements effective 2015 by roughly three-quarters of The Am Law 100.) That’s up two percentage points from the group’s findings last year, and about level with findings in 2010 and 2013, the Alliance said.
