The prospect of hearing whether a jury has reached a partial verdict in a criminal case involving three former Dewey & LeBoeuf leaders was taken off the table Friday, at least for now. The day ended without a verdict or a single question from the jury, with the exception of a request for more Post-It notes.
Lawyers told Acting Supreme Court Justice Robert Stolz that they did not want him to ask the panel of seven women and five men if they’ve reached consensus on some of the counts against the three defendants. But they left open the possibility of presenting the question at a later date.
