A former Locke Lord information technology engineer has been convicted in a Texas federal court on criminal charges of hacking the firm’s internal computer network after he stopped working for the firm four years ago.

On Wednesday, a federal jury in Dallas found the former Locke Lord IT worker, Anastasio Laoutaris, 40, guilty on two counts of computer intrusion causing damage. The conviction followed a weeklong trial at which federal prosecutors accused Laoutaris of accessing Locke Lord’s internal computer network on two occasions in December 2011.
