At 7:00 a.m. on Sept. 15, U.K. law firm Gateley will announce its latest financial results. But the 350-lawyer firm won’t use the ordinary pairing of a press release and a statement on its website. For Gateley is not an ordinary law firm. Having become the first U.K. practice to list shares in an initial public offering earlier this summer, Gateley is now a public company, and the figures will instead be disclosed in a formal statement to the London Stock Exchange.
