After dodging a $40 billion hostile takeover bid by Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. and forcing Teva to dump its former transactional lawyers at Kirkland & Ellis, it looks like Mylan NV is finally satisfied.
According to a brief docket entry in Pittsburgh federal court on Tuesday, Mylan and its lawyers at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati have agreed to resolve a high-profile conflict of interest lawsuit that they brought against Kirkland this spring. The two sides informed U.S. District Judge Joy Conti that they’ll soon file a stipulation of dismissal, putting to rest what has been a short but intensely heated dispute.
