Darren VanPuymbrouck spent nearly 26 years at Schiff Hardin before joining Barnes & Thornburg a year ago this week. Since then, the Chicago litigator has been on the move two more times.
Chicago’s Freeborn & Peters announced earlier this month its hire of VanPuymbrouck to chair its national fire and explosion response and litigation task force in the Windy City, which of course once burned to the ground. In making the move, VanPuymbrouck left Lathrop & Gage, a firm he joined in January after six months at Barnes & Thornburg.
