Legal industry job gains barely registered in May, according to the U.S. Department of Labor, continuing a pattern of anemic growth since the Great Recession.

According to Friday’s employment report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of legal services jobs stood at 1,122,200 in May, up by 300 jobs from April. (The seasonally adjusted figures are subject to revision.) For the 12 month-period ending in May 2015, the legal services industry gained about 3,400 jobs.
