Georgetown University Law Center is working with DLA Piper and Arent Fox to create a small nonprofit law firm in Washington, D.C., aimed at providing legal services at affordable rates to people with modest incomes who don't qualify for free legal aid because they're not poor enough.

    thank you for the new program as so many of us are turned away from the legal system and for lack of income. Then when our lives are destroyed by a guilty party who knew that we could not afford the law to expose them for what they had illegally done. It is those who cannot afford justice, who then resort to the use violence for justice, for which "white law" is always used to punish us while the actual originator and offender does always escape and /or is exonerated before their crimes could be exposed.
