As Major League Baseball prepares to begin its 2015 season—the first under new commissioner and former Morgan, Lewis & Bockius partner Robert Manfred Jr.—the union representing the league’s players has filed its annual report detailing its various expenses to members and external advisers.
According to the LM-2 filing made by the Major League Baseball Players Association this week with the U.S. Department of Labor, the New York-based union saw its total assets hit $116.1 million in 2014. At the same time, the MLBPA paid 14 outside lawyers and law firms, including three from The Am Law 200.
