“I got it,” said Scott, as both recall.
A year ago, Teddy Scott Jr. and John Leja had corner offices and leadership positions in Polisinelli's IP practice in Chicago. Now they've quit their jobs to found and run a medical marijuana company, taking partner Jeremy Unruh with them to serve as general counsel. The company has raised $20 million from investors and received licenses from the state of Illinois to operate two cultivation sites and four dispensaries.
