After a six-month stint at Bracewell & Giuliani, Michael Niebruegge has joined Willkie Farr & Gallagher's office in Houston, which opened in November. Niebruegge had been one of a couple of Houston-based defectors from Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, which recently posted a 15 percent decline in profits per partner for 2014.

After a short stint at Bracewell & Giuliani, one of Houston’s top finance attorneys in the energy industry is on the move again, this time joining Willkie Farr & Gallagher’s new office in Houston.
Michael Niebruegge, a partner who represents financial institutions, hedge funds and energy businesses, will lead Willkie’s energy finance practice at the firm’s three-month-old Houston office.
