I’ve often accused lawyers in big firms of being mealy-mouthed sycophants, but you can’t say that about Aysh Chaudhry, a trainee (basically a junior associate) at Clifford Chance’s London office.
Chaudhry, a first-class honours graduate in law from London University, posted a highly controversial YouTube video in the aftermath of the Charlie Hebdo massacre in Paris. In it, he criticizes moderate Muslims for being too apologetic about the event. (The video was taken off YouTube, but is now back on.)
