@Lyn Evans: By what twist of logic is to deny something evidence of guilt, simply because guilty parties have been known to deny guilt? "In denial" means something else entirely: a refusal to face facts.

I can tear Dershowitz‘s affidavit to shreds & I‘m not a lawyer. First, he "denies...". This word often is used by guilty parties in response to allegations. Because the word is defined, and can also be interpreted, to mean that the guilty party is "in denial". Regarding Virginia Roberts herself, Dershowitz first says "I don‘t know her. I never met her, but when he says those things he‘s referring to her as Jane Doe
