A pair of Am Law 100 firms have announced plans for back office operations centers, which in recent years have become all the rage among legal giants looking to slash expenses, as noted in the current issue of The American Lawyer.
Latham & Watkins has confirmed it will open a business services office in Manchester, England, while Littler Mendelson will open one in Kansas City, Mo.
