A series of class actions filed against Sony Pictures Entertainment in the wake of a massive cyberattack has prompted the company to hire a team of attorneys from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr.

David Marcus, vice chair of Wilmer’s litigation and controversy department, and Wilmer counsel Christopher Casamassima each filed notices of appearance as the attorneys for Sony Pictures in some of those cases, in which the company is accused of failing to protect its employees’ personal information.
