Two weeks after news broke of its high-profile raid on O’Melveny & Myers’ entertainment practice, Latham & Watkins has opened another Los Angeles office in Century City.
Joseph Calabrese, a former chair of the entertainment, sports and media group at O’Melveny and head of the firm’s Southern California transactional practice, tells The Am Law Daily that a “combination of things” enticed his six-partner team to make the move to Latham, including the firm’s “demonstrated success” in building out new practice areas and offices.
