Geberit AG said on Tuesday that it would purchase Sanitec Group, the Nordic ceramic toilet maker, for $1.35 billion in an all-cash deal that would enable the Swiss bathroom-piping maker to strengthen its portfolio by adding more bathroom products such as basins and bathtubs.
Geberit sought legal counsel from Latham & Watkins as well as Nordic firm Roschier Advokatbyra and German firm Gleiss Lutz. Sanitec is being advised by Nordic firm Hannes Snellman.
